Planning blog: Gatorade Commercial

 Props:

Since my group is going to be producing a Gatorade Commercial, our main prop is going to be a Gatorade bottle. Other props we will use will include a soccer ball and a goal.

Costumes:

In our commercial, we will have one group member as the subject. They will be wearing athletic wear. They will wear athletic shorts, sneakers, and a sportswear shirt.

Schedule:

On 9/22, our group will research different kinds of sports drinks commercials to understand what they should be like. We will also establish the backup plan, costumes, props, schedule, and location list.

On 9/24, our group will create the storyboard for our 30 second commercial.

On 9/28, our group will film the required shots for our commercial.

On 9/30, our group will edit the film to the point where it is complete and acceptable.

Location List:

Our main location is the soccer field. The actor will be filmed kicking a soccer ball into a goal. This shows that drinking Gatorade improves the performance of athletes.

Our secondary location is a stairwell in front of our class. At this location, we will film an actor running up and down stairs, doing so better after drinking Gatorade.

Backup plan:

If on the day we are supposed to film it is raining, we will move to a stairwell. Without drinking Gatorade, the actor will run up the stairs and pretend to become tired. After drinking, the actor will run up them at a faster pace and will not tire.
